With the introduction of the Euro, Europe has become one economic space. But it still lacks a forum for European public opinion that transcends national boundaries.

COEUR took the initiative in 1999 to coordinate the establishment of one such European forum through a monthly commentary and feature interview service for European newspapers.

European Viewpoint is co-edited by Juan Luis Cebrian, the widely respected Spanish publisher and CEO of El Pais, and Nathan Gardels, editor of the Global Viewpoint service of the Los Angeles Times Syndicate.

European Viewpoint provides a broad array of articles and interviews by European political, cultural and economic figures. See list of articles below.

Please also consult DigitalNPQ web site and the European Viewpoint site on the NPQ Global Editorial Services.
